ED Sheeran’s tattoo artist has been spilling secrets regarding the chart toping singer.
Derby-based tattooist Kevin Paul is together with the Form Of You singer having over 60 designs and counting so far — behind many of Ed’s body inkings.
It’s also believed 25-year-old Ed has spent in excess of 40 hours of his life in the tattoo chair to acquire the layouts added to your own skin.
Kev told the MailOnline: “We’ve spent about 40 hours on Ed within the last calendar year, and keeping it a secret was probably the hardest bit.”
The designer included it is not necessarily in the tattoo parlour that Ed gets his designs etched on — occasionally the ink work occurs at the home of the star.
“Occasionally he would travel to me but normally we’d go around to his house, wear a boxset and order Nando’s, and also do a little bit of tattooing. It was all extremely chilled,” he revealed.
“Ed currently has thirty tattoos on his front, and countless ones his arms down,” the tattoo artist estimates.
It appears that Ed is far from over becoming his body colored in- as reports suggest he is likely 30 longer on his spine.
Ed does suffer for his art, Kevin asserts.
“Every single one lately involved horrible pain, particularly round the ribs and I recall one time that he had to fly out to Italy the following day, also had this awful, weeping tattoo seeping throughout the clingfilm utilized to shield it. It wasn’t an ideal scenario,” he explained.
The singer announced a set of 2017 tour dates Split.
They’ll be Sheeran’s first dates in the united kingdom since his gigs at Wembley Stadium in July 2015.
UK and Ireland dates will probably see Ed playing across Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Newcastle, London, Birmingham and Dublin.
Dates in the united kingdom will see him playing with arenas between April and May 2017.
