Removing Kids Temporary Tattoos
For a lot of special occasions one often sees temporary tattoos being handed to kids. Whether it is for a nation’s holiday (example Canada Day, Independence Day), or as a party favour at another child’s birthday party, kids generally love to wear temporary tattoos. It makes them feel cool and good about themselves. It makes them feel proud as well.
The tricky part is once the tattoo begins to fade, trying to remove it without damaging the child’s skin. The instant idea for most parents is to scrub the area with warm soapy water. There are a few things wrong with this: it is very difficult to have young children stand still long enough, and it will cause redness and irritation to the skin.
Something that most parents might not be aware of is the use of baby oil. Rubbing some of this prior to using warm soapy water will assist in the removal of kids temporary tattoos and save the skin from irritation. Follow up the area with some baby powder or soothing skin lotion and one will have success. Rubbing alcohol will also ensure the removal is fast and easy, but the skin may become irritated as well.
