One of the most romantic things that can be done (in the impression of some people) is to create a tattoo that has your lovers name in it. The lifetime decision is going to be on the skin forever and can be very difficult to remove and therefore many people take this gesture as something that you would do for the one that you love.

tying the knot. Couples that are getting married are often getting their initials tattooed on the ring finger, in addition to the wedding ring, to create a lasting impression even when the ring is removed or in the case its misplaced or lost.
