How to Apply Temporary Tattoos
Temporary tattoos are available most often in the form that uses paper transfer to apply the ink to the skin through the use of moisture. The tattoo is placed on specialized paper which holds the ink, but has the ability to release the ink, on to the skin once the paper has been moistened and pressure has been applied to the skin. Through this method, an individual can easily transfer the tattoo, in a variety of forms and designs, to the skin.
The first step that an individual should take care of when applying temporary tattoos to the skin is using methods like moistening the original tattoo. Through this process, it can be completed with a warm cloth after the tattoo has been placed on the area of the skin that the individual would like it to be transferred to. Through this method, individuals should ensure that it is placed right the first time, as it can degrade the quality once the plastic covering has been removed and the tattoo is moved around.
After the tattoo has been chosen and you have picked the right area where the tattoo is going to be applied to, it is time to apply a wet cloth to the back of the area where the tattoo is going to be placed. This cloth will help to activate the transfer process that comes with the tattoo and allow the person that is getting the tattoo to have the design which is found on the tattoo become transferred to the body. When the pressure has been applied to the body for about thirty seconds, the warm cloth that is providing the moisture can be slowly removed. Start from one side, if the tattoo has not adhered to the skin than keep the moisture on the tattoo for a few more moments.
