Designing Your Custom Sleeve Tattoo
Sleeve tattoos get their name from the fact that the artwork that has been created on the body is similar to the appearance of a sleeve and the tattoo extends throughout the arm, throughout the top of the arm and therefore extend throughout the front of the arm, the back of the arm and even through the sides of the arm. Although these designs can be difficult to design, there are certain tattoo artists that specialize in these types of pieces and therefore can design a sleeve tattoo that comes without seams and has a fluid design throughout the entire tattoo. When choosing the sleeve tattoo artist, be sure to check through the portfolio to ensure that the artist truly has experience in this type of tattoo.
What types of tattoo art is most popular when it comes to sleeve tattoo designs? Sleeve tattoo designs are most popular in the form of tribal art that can be extended throughout the entire upper arm, in a variety of colors or in traditional dark colors. These bold dark colors are used to create a tattoo that draws attention to the area and the muscles that have been created through these designs. For the bold designs that are often created through these sleeve tattoos, they are often more popular with men than women.
Designing the sleeve tattoo can be simple with the use of an experienced tattoo artist. Once you are able to describe the look that you are going for, you can ensure that you are to have this created through the designs that you have used for inspiration and the ones that you like and the elements that you would like to see in the tattoo.
