Arabic tattoos and writing have been seen primarily in countries outside of North America. There is a small population of people that hold them within the country, but mostly those of Arabic decent. Depending on what word or phrase the client wants to have will also determine the size of the tattoo. Arabic words tend to be a different length than what one thinks the length is.

Examples of Arabic writing tattoos can be found primarily online. There are many different websites that hold examples, such as Tattoo Art, Tattoos By Design and other online pages. Although a lot of tattoo artists are unfamiliar with Arabic language, when a client chooses a word or phrase they want done, they will also have to bring in the translation or picture of the tattoo.
